Hertfordshire Garden

A modernist house has been cut into a steep hillside with a small woodland belt to the rear and a number of mature trees to the side boundaries grounding the house and linking the space to the wider countryside. The garden takes a nod from the modernist style responding to the large volumes by laying out a series of terraces punctuated by sculptural trees and topiary.  A grey limestone has been used throughout to tie in the various garden spaces which include a reflective water pool, outdoor fireplace and entertaining terrace
